The actor, producer, and musician Bruce Willis hails from the United States of America. In 1955, Walter Bruce Willis was born in Los Angeles, California.

Along with his starring role in Moonlighting (1985–1989), he played over a hundred films in a variety of roles, including playing the role of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise (1988–2013) and other roles, earning him recognition as an action hero.

The Early life of Bruce Willis:

His father, David Willis, was an American soldier. His mother, Marlene, was German, from Kassel. March 19, 1955, Willis was born in the West German city of Idar-Oberstein.

The family moved to Carneys Point, New Jersey in 1957 after his father was discharged from the military. 

Willis has a younger sister named Florence and two younger brothers named Robert (deceased) and David. It has been reported that Willis comes from a long line of blue-collar people. His parents were welders, master mechanics, and factory workers.

Stuttering Willis attended Penns Grove High School, where he was nicknamed “Buck-Buck”. He joined the drama club and found that acting on stage significantly reduced his stutter, eventually becoming president of the student council.

In 1973, Willis graduated from high school and began working at the Salem Nuclear Power Plant as a security guard. He also transported crew members to the DuPont Chambers Works factory in Deepwater, New Jersey, as a transportation officer.

He enrolled in Montclair State University’s Drama Program and was part of a production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. His first job was at the Manhattan art bar Kamikaze in the early 1980s.

After leaving school in 1977, he lived in Hell’s Kitchen as a bartender. Willis and Moore married on November 21, 1987, and had three daughters, including Rumer, who was born in August 1988.On June 24, 1998, Willis and Moore announced their separation. On October 18, 2000, they filed for divorce, and the divorce was finalized on that day. 

In regards to the divorce, Willis stated, “I felt I had failed as both a father and a husband by not being able to make it work,” and crediting actor Will Smith as a supporter of his decision.
